Following the appointment of Marco Rotelli as Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator for the United Nations in Ukraine, the Intersos Board of Directors has appointed Mamadou Ndiaye as the new President of the organisation. Ndiaye, currently the representative of Internos in Dakar, an expert in agro-economy, was executive director of the Senegalese NGO OFADEC, contributing to the implementation of refugee assistance and protection programmes. He is the first African president for an Italian NGO.<\/p>\n
