From 16 July to 16 October 2021, enrollments are open for the first level Master\u2019s degree in cooperation for rural and agri-food sustainable development<\/strong> , organized by the University of Milan, in partnership with LINK2007. The master, reserved for 50 students, is divided into 464 hours of frontal teaching and 36 hours of other forms of training, such as seminars. The activities are completed by 250 hours of training. The course will be delivered in English.<\/p>\nSIGN UP HERE<\/a><\/h3>\nThe selection interviews will take place on 20 October. After this date, the student will find out about any concessions to which he will be entitled and will be able to decide whether to proceed with the payment of the assigned enrollment fee.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The aim of the Master is to train professionals capable of dealing with problems relating to rural development under different profiles: technical, social, economic, institutional.<\/p>\n

\nHERE THE NOTICE<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\nThe University has made scholarships<\/strong> available \u00a0to allow easier access to certain categories of students:<\/p>\n\n- students from poor and developing countries according to DM 156 of 02\/12\/2021: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lao People\u2019s Democratic Republic, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda , Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, , Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
\nFor these students, the subsidy is 75% (3,000 euros) of the enrollment fee. The subsidy is granted on the basis of the income situation\/self-certification presented by the candidates and the academic merit resulting from the score established by the admission ranking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n- students from other countries (including Italians) who are in developing countries for cooperation activities during the course of the master\u2019s degree. For this aspect, the certification of the organization in which they are employed is authentic. For these students, the subsidy is set at 50% (2,000 euros) of the enrollment fee and will be assigned to those who show disadvantaged economic conditions, as proven by the ISEE model presented (or by self-certification\/declaration of income situation), in compliance with the academic merit established by the score of the admission ranking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
What is the Master in Cooperation for Rural and Agri-food Sustainable Development?<\/h2>\n
In particular, rural development still represents a highly priority process in many parts of the world<\/strong> , where local communities base their existence on the agricultural sector, a sector which requires continuous adaptations to respond to the challenges of globalisation, demographic growth, natural threats and anthropogenic. Not only that, the development of rural communities must be channeled into paths of environmental, social and economic sustainability, the only guarantee of a lasting and solid balance<\/strong> with the available resources and with the institutional, cultural and natural context.<\/p>\nThe operator in these contexts must therefore possess the keys to understand the reality in which he operates and to favor processes of self-development, empowerment, construction of social and institutional capital. For this reason, the purpose of the Master in \u201cCooperation for Rural and Agri-food Sustainable Development\u201d is to primarily provide the technical skills to help plan and implement rural, agricultural and agri-food development interventions in countries with limited resources<\/strong> and, at the same time , provide the tools to decode and interpret the social, institutional and economic context in order to guide development paths and related projects and interventions towards sustainability.<\/p>\nWho can participate?<\/h2>\n
The course is aimed at all holders of the degree classes pursuant to DM 270\/2004: L-02 Biotechnology; L-06 Geography; L-07 Civil and Environmental Engineering; L-13 Biological Sciences; L-18 Economics and Business Management Sciences; L-21 Territorial, Urban, Landscape and Environmental Planning Sciences; L-25 Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies; L-26 Agro-Food Sciences and Technologies; L-32 Science and Technology for the Environment and Nature; L-33 Economics; L-36 Political Sciences and International Relations; L-37 Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development and Peace; L-38 Zootechnical Sciences and Technologies of Animal Production.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of the English language is also required.<\/p>\n
