Halal food: a border that does not divide

The Conference was promoted by Link 2007, Assaif and the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. “Halal food: a border that does not divide – Culture, dialogue, inclusion, cooperation, business”. It was a first opportunity for dialogue and knowledge on a subject that is still underestimated, given the opportunities that it can instead offer both in the field of social integration, food product quality and sustainability, and in the economic field for Italian food companies and European. This is why we considered it important to organize the Conference within the context of Expo 2015 and the European Year for Development.
