25 November, Day Against Violence Against Women
25.11.2024
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the LINK 2007 Network reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the fight against all forms of violence, discrimination, and human rights violations against women, both in Italy and worldwide. Gender-based violence is a complex issue that manifests in various forms: physical, psychological, economic, and cultural, affecting millions of women globally, undermining their dignity and fundamental rights.
For years, the LINK 2007 Network has stood by women who suffer from abuse, providing support, raising awareness, and working to create a culture of respect and equal opportunities. In collaboration with our member organizations, we continue to work actively to combat gender-based violence, promote effective prevention policies, and ensure access to support resources for victims.
Every day, in every corner of the world, we witness the strength of women who, despite the challenges, continue to fight for their freedom and a future free from violence. Our mission is to help build a society in which every woman can live free from fear, where justice and rights are always protected, and where violence is condemned in all its forms.
Today, more than ever, we reaffirm our commitment to a more just, safe, and respectful world and invite everyone to join this cause, so that together we can put an end to violence and promote a true culture of equal dignity for all women.
