International development cooperation. Opportunities to be seized and criticalities to overcome

“The Europe-Africa Conference at the end of November and the launch of the European External Investment Plan for the African continent and the Mediterranean are proof that political dialogue, cooperation, the development of lasting partnerships in mutual respect and mutual convenience have become a fundamental component of the politics and international relations of the two continents”. Paolo Dieci, president of “LINK 2007”, the NGO network, is convinced of this, having released a note which points out on the one hand the opportunities that Italy must be able to seize to strengthen its cooperation relations, and on the other some critical issues requiring corrective action with great urgency.
