On 22 December, the Head of State conferred the functions of Director General for development cooperation , starting from the date of effective assumption of functions, to the Plenipotentiary Minister in Amman, as Head of the diplomatic representation, with ambassador credentials, Fabio Cassese, who replaces Ambassador Giorgio Marrapodi, the new Italian ambassador in Ankara, Turkey.
