07/07/2022

Interview with Frank Dongmo, Secretary General and Representative African Engineers Association to talk about the winning project of the first edition of the Paolo Dieci Award.

The Association was founded in 2007 and is made up of engineers and undergraduates in the field of technology and new innovations. The project ‘Drinking Water and Appropriate Technologies for Education and Health’ will enable the creation of a local water network through a 60,000 litre capacity storage tank with photovoltaic pumping for more than 5,000 people.

A project of great relevance especially in the regions of Cameroon severely affected by cholera, a disease linked to poor water quality.

Through access to drinking water, it will be possible to improve the health of the people living in these territories and optimise working conditions.
