Roberto Ridolfi: “The challenge of 2023? Declare war on inequality”

Known in the world of international cooperation, an expert in finance for development and public-private partnerships, Roberto Ridolfi has held numerous managerial positions and diplomatic assignments. He has undertaken academic and research commitments in Italian and international universities and in multicultural environments. In recent years he was also special adviser and then deputy director general of FAO. He has been the President of LINK 2007 for over two years, a network of Italian and international NGOs, some of which are active in key sectors such as health, education, water, agriculture, professional training, gender equality, the environment, humanitarian emergencies. “We try to bring Italy back to the center of the agenda as a bridge between Europe and Africa”, he tells Massimo Lucidi. We need to “push the accelerator of economic relations and solidarity to create links between today’s leaders and those of tomorrow, between Africa and Italy and Europe”.
